Job Description

This internship offers hands-on exposure to IT support, system operations, and infrastructure management, providing valuable experience in maintaining and supporting enterprise technology systems.

As an IT Support intern, you will assist the IT Operations team in providing first-level support to end-users and ensuring the smooth functioning of AXS’s internal systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Provide IT support to users by responding to service requests, troubleshooting issues, and escalating unresolved problems to higher support tiers.
  • Assist in monitoring system performance, network connectivity, and server health using internal tools.
  • Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.).
  • Help manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies.
  • Perform routine system checks, patching, and software updates to ensure operational stability and security compliance.
  • Assist in asset management and inventory tracking of IT equipment and licenses.
  • Document support tickets, issue resolutions, and procedures in the IT knowledge base.
  • Provide technical assistance for hardware and software installations, system rollouts, or upgrades.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams to ensure efficient incident response and service restoration.
  • Support ad-hoc IT operational and administrative tasks as assigned by supervisors.

 

 

Requirements
  • Currently pursuing Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, networking fundamentals, and IT hardware components.
  • Familiar with Microsoft 365, Active Directory is a plus.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently under supervision.
  • Eager to learn about enterprise IT operations and support processes.
