Job Description

The Tech Ops Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our technology infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing systems to support the company’s operational needs. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong technical expertise and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT operations, system administration, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, server management, and cloud-based systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CCNA, AWS) are an advantage.
Requirements
  1. System Monitoring and Maintenance:
  • Monitor and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications, to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Perform routine system checks, updates, and backups to prevent disruptions and ensure data security.

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, escalating complex problems as needed.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve operational processes through automation and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.

 

  1. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Generate regular reports on system performance, incidents, and resolutions for management review.

 

  1. Compliance and Security:
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards for data security and privacy.
  • Implement and monitor security measures to protect systems from potential threats.

 

  1. Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to support business objectives.
  • Communicate technical information clearly and effectively to non-technical audiences.
