How does AXS handle security and compliance?
At AXS, security and compliance are our top priorities. We are PCI DSS compliant and implement advanced security measures to protect sensitive payment information, ensuring safe and seamless transactions for all users.
PCI PED
All PIN entry devices conform to the strict PCI PED standards to protect the confidentiality and integrity of the entered PIN. These devices are tamper-resistant and prevent unauthorized users from intercepting or accessing the cardholder's PIN. Additionally, privacy shields are installed on all PIN entry devices to protect the PIN pad from visual observation, ensuring the PIN is securely entered.

PCI DSS Certification

AXS, a payment service provider that is fully compliant with PCI DSS and certified as a Level 1 Service Provider, the highest security standard in the payments industry.
To maintain these standards, AXS undergoes regular assessments for PCI DSS, by Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council certified Qualified Security Assessor (QSA).

AXS uses industry-leading secure technology and protocols to ensure your payment transaction and information are safe, whenever you transact on AXS m-Station (Mobile Payment Platform), AXS Drive, AXS Checkout and AXS Terminals.

Our online payment site is secured by encryption. All information that you enter on the site will be protected and kept confidential.

Payment authentication

For payment, we follow the industry standard of authentication - your Bank's User ID/PIN and 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) token/SMS OTP for eNETS transaction, and 3-D Secure (3DS) authentication for credit and debit cards transaction.

Passcode protection

The billing information, payment and Receive records that you choose to store in your local mobile/tablet device is kept secured by the passcode you have set-up. Passcode length is from 6 to 12 alphanumeric characters.

Tokenisation and transaction

AXS App makes use of tokenisation to protect your sensitive card information. Additionally, for every transaction performed on your card, we send a notification to keep you informed, provided you have enabled this feature in the app. Your information and records are fully encrypted within the device, as well as on the server.
