Frequently asked questions

  • There are no additional fees for using AXS Drive to pay for your hourly parking at our participating locations.

  • We are actively adding to the list of participating car parks, click here to see if your favorite car parks are on the list.

  • Yes, all parking fees paid with AXS Drive app are available under History in the app.

  • This may be due to network-related delays. Rest assured, your parking payment history will be updated in the AXS Drive app once the network resumes.

  • You do not need to remove your stored value card at participating locations when you exit.

  • No, you will not be charged twice. The car park operator prioritizes payment deductions based on a predefined system.

    • If the car park is not participating, you must pay for parking using your CashCard or EZ-Link/FlashPay card.
    • If the car park is a participating location, your saved payment card may have failed authorization.
    • Check your saved payment card in the app or add a different card.

  • Please follow these steps:

    1. Check promotion details
      • Refer to the respective car park’s promotion or offer to understand how the redemption/complimentary parking ticket is issued.
    2. Before exiting the car park
      • Open the AXS Drive App and go to “Complimentary Parking.”
      • Tap “+ Add Complimentary Parking” under the “Vouchers” tab or select “Scan Barcode/QR.”
      • Choose your car park location from the drop-down list.
      • Scan your redemption/complimentary parking ticket, ensuring the full barcode/QR is visible.
      • The ticket information will then appear under “Complimentary Privileges.”
    3. Upon exit
      • The redemption/complimentary parking ticket will be applied automatically.
      • Any remaining balance will be charged to your default payment card.

    Note: You must have at least one valid payment card saved in your AXS Drive account to use this feature.

     

  • For a smoother parking experience, we place a $5 temporary hold on your credit or debit card when you enter the car park. This ensures sufficient funds are available to cover your parking fee for a hassle-free exit.

    Illustration on how it works:
    Step 1: A $5 holding amount will be placed when you park.
    Step 2: Once you exit the car park, the actual parking fee will be charged.
    Step 3: Holding amount will be released back to the card.

    For example:

    • Parking fee: $8
    • Temporary hold: $5
    • After exit: $8 will be charged, temporary holding amount of $5 will be released.

    Note: Depending on your card issuer, the holding amount may appear as a pending transaction on your bank statement.

  • When you exit the car park, the actual parking fee will be charged to your card, and the temporary hold amount will be released back to your card.

    For example:

    • Temporary hold: $5, this may appear as “AXS Drive -$5.00 (pending)” on your bank statement.
    • Actual parking fee: $8, this will be reflected as “AXS Drive -$8.00 (pending)” on your bank statement. This will be the actual fee that is charged to your card.
    • Release temporary hold: $5. Card issuer will remove “AXS Drive -$5.00 (pending)” from your bank statement.

    Important Notes:

    • The temporary hold may appear as a pending transaction on your bank statement.
    • The release of the hold may take several business days to reflect back in your account, depending on your card issuer.
    • This ensures a seamless parking experience without requiring additional charges beyond the actual parking fee.

     

  • Some car park systems do not support scanning of redemption/complimentary parking tickets via the AXS Drive app. For these car parks, please follow these steps:

    1. At the exit, the full parking charge will first appear on the LED display and the barrier will automatically open.
    2. Do not drive off immediately.
    3. Insert or scan your redemption/complimentary parking ticket at the machine.
    4. The LED display will update with the revised parking charge.
    5. Exit the car park. Any remaining balance will be charged to your default payment card.

  • You will only be charged the actual parking fee, and the remaining pre-authorized amount will be released to your card.

  • This may be due to network-related delays. Rest assured, your parking payment history will be updated in the AXS Drive app once the network resumes.
